It is likely that drivers of a previous Nero version are left on your computer and that these drivers prevent the proper installation of Nero 7.
To delete the old drivers, please follow these steps:
a) Download the General CleanTool to your desktop.
Unzip the file with WinZip or WinRar and double-click the .EXE file.
Select the Clean All option and click the Clean button to uninstall all Nero products.
Now reboot your system.
b) Download the General-CleanTool-2000 to your desktop.
Unzip the Cleantool with WinZip or WinRar and then double-click the .EXE file to activate it.
Reboot your system when the CleanTool has finished.
It will clean the registry and remove all Nero entries.
c) Start the installation of Nero 7 again.
