「BESM d20」是…
所謂的BESM，即“Big Eyes, Small Mouth（大眼小嘴）”的縮寫，指的是具有日本動畫特徵的角色。原本的BESM是由美國的「Guaredians of Order」公司開發，將日本動畫做成RPG來遊玩，或說是為了能進行具有日本動畫般規則的RPG所做的系統。

Erm... Look, BESM does not equal to GOO. The source is somewhat misleading.
(I can't write Chinese at the moment, so feel free to ignore this or whatever.)
1) d20 Mecha & Military Vechicles are not mainly for use of BESM d20. It's just another d20 sourcebook.
(Actually GOO had a problem with DP9 over this, so there's two version with DP9's 300 pages version and GOO's 80 pager. See http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7993)
2) d20 Silver Age Sentinels is it's own d20-based game system, a remake of the old edition Tri-Stat SAS with different tone and style than BESM. (It's an American Superhero game, ya'know...) It is quite possible to say that BESM d20 was based on d20 SAS instead of the other way around.
3) While Trigun and Hellsing are BESM d20 sourcebooks, Slayers d20 is a self-supported full d20 system.
(Brought d20 Salyers just a short while ago, and no BESM logo anywhere in the book. Not a fan of d20 but the magic system is quite neat indeed, and does completely cover the whole setting up to TRY.)
Most of it (and the various varients of BESM d20) were part of GOO's attempt to make more money before it went bankrupted a couple of years ago.
