不知道在台灣的各位大大們的老師是如何教的不過有個更好的方法幫你們分解英文的詩
方法叫: TP-CASTT
T= Title Ponder the title before reading the poem
P= Paraphrase Translate the poem into your own words
C= Connotation Think about the poem beyond the literal meaning
A= Attitude Observe both the speaker's and the poet's attitude (tone)
S= Shifts Note Shifts in speakers and in attitudes
T= Title Examine the title again, this time on an interpretive level
T= Theme Determine what the poet is saying
解釋
T= Title 用詩的標題先猜測詩會說什麼
P= Paraphrase 將整個師的文言文用字以認為的意識番解
C= Connotation 陷再想想看每個字更深的意識
A= Attitude 詩中角色的態度是什麼
S= Shifts 有沒有任何的轉點 (時間, 地點, ...etc)
T= Title 現在再解釋一次標題
T= Theme 分解完了~將你以為作者的主題寫出來吧
現在給大大們一個題目:
Tyger Tyger burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies,
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare sieze the fire?
And what shoulder & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand?& what dread feet?
What the hammer? What the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? What dread grasp
Dare its deadly terrors clasp!
When the stars threw down their spears
And water’d heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the lamb make thee?
Tyger Tyger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
