In this saga, order has been disrupted and chaos reigns in the land of Wulin. The Wulin Warriors must search for the legendary Seven Stars, lost agents of order, and fight those on the dark side for control over the fate of the world.
Selected as children for their exceptional promise these mighty young warriors have spent their entire lives at the Mountain Top Academy. Their sensei the Oracle has shown these young men the way of the sword. Their fighting skills have made the Wulin Warriors the pride of Wulin. Though still young Lone Sword, Scar, Phoenix, are already the finest swordsmen Wulin has ever seen.
But beyond the Academy things are changing an aided anger returns to Wulin. Shadow takes hold of the skies darkness encroaches this threat will force the Wulin Warriors beyond the confines of the Mountain Top Academy, and eventually it will force them to call upon a power even greater then themselves; the power of the stars.
The Stars are a mysterious band of warriors whose sole purpose is to maintain neutrality in Wulin. They are a diverse bunch, running the spectrum from the kindest souls to the most ruthless assassins. Each of the Seven Stars corresponds to an actual star in the sky; which is part of the Great Dragon constellation. The entire Great Dragon constellation rotates around the star that denotes the eye of the Dragon, making it the most powerful part of the constellation. Naturally, this is the star that corresponds to the Lord of the Stars. The natural gravitational pull that these stars exert on each other keep the constellation (and the Stars themselves) in balance. In this same vein, the Stars all have different powers that allow them to complement each other and keep each other in check. These powers are also all somehow connected to the stars' positions in the Great Dragon constellation.
Hierarchy
Six only knows where/who Five is, Five only knows where/who four is, and so on. Thus, to get to the Lord of the Stars ("One"), the WulinMasters have to work their way up through this list, starting from the bottom. Unfortunately, each Star is sworn to protect the identities of the other Stars, and thus one can get this information out of a Star only by defeating him or her in combat and thereby assuming that Star's powers and knowledge in Highlander-like fashion.
