Codex Entry 162: Alistair
"You know, one good thing about the Blight is how it brings people together."
Alistair was a novice templar when Duncan recruited him into the Grey Wardens--or rescued him, as Alistair would say.
Alistair is fascinated by magic, even as his life is defined by fighting its darker manifestations. He has a fondness for strange runestones and figural studies of arcane creatures.
Isoldes suspicions were unfounded, however. Alistair was not Eamons son, but King Marics. Eamon sheltered the boy to hide his existence from Queen Rowan, Eamons sister.
His mother was a serving girl, who died when Alistair was very young. He was raised by Eamon Guerrin, arl of Redcliffe for a time.
The arls wife, Isolde, suspected the reason her husband took an interest in the welfare of a servants child was that Alistair was Eamons son. She insisted that the boy be sent away to the Chantry.
Alistair left:
Unable to accept the decision to spare Loghains life, Alistair left--and has not been seen since.
Alistair king:
With a great deal of assistance, Alistair was recognized by the Landsmeet as Marics son and granted his fathers throne.
Alistair dead:
To prevent further civil war, he was Executed at the Landsmeet on the orders of Queen Anora, ending the Theirin line.
Alistair archdemon:
In the battle against the archdemon in Denerim, Alistair gave his life to save his friends and end the Blight.
第一百六十二卷：Alistair
「你知道，天災所帶來的一個好處就是它將形形色色的人都聚集到一起了。」
Alistair是一位聖殿武士的初學者，而後被Duncan徵召了他---或者拯救了他，按他的說法---加入了灰色守望者。
Alistair對魔法很是著迷，僅管他的一生都被人任命去與魔法的陰暗面進行戰鬥。他喜愛奇怪的符文石，以及能夠幫助對魔法生物進行學習的雕像。
Isolde的懷疑始終並沒有被確認。Alistair不是Eamon的兒子，而是國王Maric的兒子。Eamon保護了這個孩子並將他藏起來以不使皇后Rowan，同時也是Eamon的妹妹所發現。
他的母親是一名侍女，在Alistair很年輕的時候就死去了。他被Redcliffe當時的男爵Eamon Guerrin撫養長大。
男爵的妻子Islde，懷疑她的丈夫之所以關心一位僕人的孩子是由於Alistair是Eamon的兒子。她堅持要將這個男孩送給教會撫養。
Alistair離去：
因無法接受寬恕Loghain生命的決定，Alistair離開了---並從此離開了人們的視線。
Alistair成為國王：
在接受了極大的幫助後，Alistair在領主會議上被認可為Maric的兒子並獲得了他父親的寶座。
Alistair死去：
為了防止今後可能發生的內戰，他在領主會議上因女皇Anora的命令被予以處決，從此終結了Theirin後裔的血脈。
Alistair殺死大惡魔：
在Denerim對抗大惡魔的戰鬥中，Alistair犧牲了他的生命以拯救他的朋友並終結了天災。 |
