Just out of curiosity, what's your occupation so far and why are you learning english.
This is an exercise that one of previous teachers showed us.  
It is suppose to allow us to ask ourselves why are we learning english.
What is coming out from it. And how we can show a better attitude towards it.
So please tell me what is your meaning of learning english.

I am currently a post-secondary student in Canada, and my purpose of learning english is so that I can understand the people around me.  Making friends with strangers needs communication, and my objection to learn english is based on this priority.

I'm just a random high school stundent visting 11th grade in .. oh well, nevermind... If you ask me why do I learn English I'd prolly say to make some girl.. erm.. I mean friends in foreign countries ofc. =) I'm also interested in different languages b/c I want to travel around the world on my own someday.... (I'm serious.. = =
