i.) Bad groups are NOT better than no groups at all.
ii.) This one response from someone else literally changed my whole gaming outlook: Why play with bad players?
GM is a player too. He doesn't need to cater to the players any more than one gamer should to another. He doesn't owe his players anything. And if the players really don't want to do anything and just want their almighty GM to do everything for them... Well, I'd look for other players.
It's simple: If you don't play ball, I'll go find somebody else who does.
