Dodgers trade for Finley, Mayne

He acquired outfielder Steve Finley and journeyman catcher Brent Mayne from the Arizona Diamondbacks and unloaded outfielder Dave Roberts to the Boston Red Sox and left-handed reliever Tom Martin to the Atlanta Braves for minor leaguers before the 1 p.m. trade deadline.
To get Finley, DePodesta traded three minor leaguers -- outfielder Reggie Abercrombie, catcher Koyie Hill and pitcher Bill Murphy
